A terrble company to work for. Not only did they blindly overpay Pride for their properties, they stocked them with borderline professionals at best. Chicago should watch this one play out, as it seems to be the budgetary direction Chicago is heading: people interfere with the bottom line short term gratification. I remember a time posts here laughing at the idea of voicetracking.

: Because I worked for NextMedia in the burbs of Chicago. Even though on the air it may seem like there are well-paid full time personalities, most everyone gets paid minimum wage and has to voicetrack their show, and only gets paid for the time they're physically in the studios voicetracking the show. It's disgusting.

: : : : It'd be easier to ask who isn't a drunken sicky at WIIL. NM is rife with these type of folk, and I've seen a few of these 'pros' at work during remotes, and let's just say it's not going to give them better opportunities in other markets once they're let go...and they will be
