Sovereign Radio filed to move WZRK from Lake Geneva, WI to Northbrook, IL and reduce power to 1.8kW Non-Directional at a site near Northbrook. It will still retain daytimer status (since it's a Canadian Clear Channel).

What's interesting is that it looks like Sovereign and Larry Nelson's company, Grundy County Broadcasting are merging. GS Radio is listed as the proposed licensee, with Nelson's Plano address being listed as the company address. I am presuming this is part of the deal with to sign off Nelson's WCSJ, which is stated in the app for moving WZRK that WCSJ will either reduce power or cease operations prior to program test.

Anybody know any more details about the two companies?
