Real estate near Northbrook is not cheap. I suspect that they may be wanting to use Polnet's towers, located in an unincorporated area, along the Tri-State, next to Northbrook and Wheeling.
Recently the existing towers (which are used for 1330 WKTA Evanston and 1430 WEEF Highland Park-Deerfield) were increased from 4 to 6, however I heard that the 2 new towers were not being used yet.
I think Relevant Radio is merging with Nelson Multimedia for this 1 station only. I can't imagine it would be all of their stations (Catholics with Lutherans?). What's interesting is that a former Nelson station AM 930 WAUR Sandwich is now a Relevant station, but Nelson actually sold it to Radio AAHS (pronounced 'oz').
Nelson and Polnet already know each other. Polnet bought low-power TV station W24AJ Aurora from Nelson (which was a repeater of Nelson's low power Channel 30 WSPY-LP Plano, an 'America One' affiliate). Polnet has 2 construction permits (for digital TV) for this station: Channel 22, W20CX-D Aurora from the existing tower (south of Yorkville), and Channel 20, W20CX-D Aurora from a tower in Schaumburg. This is going to be quite a good signal:

I think the tower for Polnet's Channel 24, W24AJ Aurora is the same as Relevant's AM 930 WAUR Sandwich, which is located south of Yorkville.
