I figured it out. From his Facebook:
"thanks for those who wrote asking where my WLS shows were. I was in the Northwestern ER...a partial tear to my Meniscus and bursitis, and it hurts. Only second missed radio show in 13 years. I really tell a doctor, 'Enough I have to leave to go on the radio and write for Dr. Susan's cat book. I must leave!' The response: 'Try it. You can't walk.' He had a point."
