Nine FM/Chicago To Simulcast WCPT Talk

NEWSWEB's Adult Hits WKIE-WRZA-WDEK (NINE FM)/CHICAGO is flipping to a simulcast of sister Talk WCPT-A (CHICAGO'S PROGRESSIVE TALK) 5a-9p seven days a week, beginning OCTOBER 20th.

The simulcast lineup includes DIAL GLOBAL's BILL PRESS, STEPHANIE MILLER, and ED SCHULTZ, and AIR AMERICA RADIO's THOM HARTMANN, RACHEL MADDOW, and RON REAGAN, plus weekend programming including shows from local veterans JAKE HARTFORD and DICK KAY, plus public radio's "WHAD'YA KNOW?" The FM stations will continue to carry the "DANCE FACTORY" Dance format 9p-5a weeknights and 8p-5a SATURDAY nights.

"Breakout stars like RACHEL MADDOW, ED SCHULTZ and STEPHANIE MILLER illustrate the enthusiasm that exists for the progressive talk radio format," said VP/Group Station Manager HARVEY WELLS. "We’re thrilled to be able to offer even more outstanding programming to the CHICAGO area."
