Former WBBM-AM anchor Dale McCarren dies

WBBM-AM is reporting that Dale McCarren, a former anchorman at the station, has died after a long illness.

McCarren was one of the original morning-drive anchors when the station launched its Newsradio 780 format on May 5, 1968.
