Help me understand the logic:

WSQR-AM 1180 Sycamore and WSPY-AM 1480 Geneva both carry the "Timeless Classics" program.

A good part of both of their coverage areas overlap! How sensible is it to have the same program on two stations in very similar locations?

(This seems to make even less sense than the 92.5, 92.7, and 99.9 trimulcast no matter what the format has been over the years.)

Is there another 50's/60's/70's program that can be taken from a bird?
