Actually, in most cases, it DOES matter if you're a student or not. Most college stations that I know of require you to be a student to participate. WONC at North Central College, for instance, doesn't usually allow people in the station if they're not a student, and the radio students are instructed to not put people on the air if they're not a part of the station, with interviews being an exception.

Also, I don't know of any college stations that OFFER internships. They do, however, encourage their students to get internships at commercial stations.

: Jacob, I think broadcast schools are wastes of time and money..
